2. Bore Planning Equipment
Atlas Bore planning software
The Atlas Bore planning software allows Strega's
supervisors to accurately plan bores before starting a pilot
bore. The software calculates the correct curvatures for the
pipe that will be installed and allows for deviations around
existing underground utilities and obstructions.
FieldCalc System
Used on small hand held computers in the field, FieldCalc
assists the site supervisors make bore calculations such as
fluid usage and reamer sizes.
Terrain Mapping System
This survey instrument is used by Strega personnel to complete
bore plans accurately and quickly. The Terrain Mapper interfaces
with the Bore Planning software allowing us to quickly complete
an accurate bore plan.
